We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to production cross-browser code that delivers a near-native experience to our users.

Interaction

You will work with the Head of Design and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how our website (desktop and mobile) and internal dashboard look and function.

Achieve

Our front-end code utilizes the optimized code to our users. You will get the chance to work with the latest HTML5 APIs such as Media Capture and Service Workers while still progressively supporting browsers that don't support such APIs. This is your chance to be one of the industry leaders when it comes to delivering video on the web.

Experience

• Three or more years experience as a senior front-end engineer
  ‍
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  ‍
• Solid understanding of the DOM and its underlying APIs
  
  
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as Angular, Vue, and React.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with progressive web application principles
  ‍
• Familiarity with progressive enhancement principles
  ‍

Skills

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  ‍
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  ‍
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
  ‍

A plus if...

• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to prepare assets for web use.
  ‍
• Familiarity with tools such as Sketch, Gimp, or Photoshop is a plus.
  ‍
• Experience working with video on the web is a big plus.
